Who we are
Oltin is responsible for this website and for OneLegal. This policy covers the website. When an organisation uses OneLegal, a separate agreement covers the data it puts in (see “OneLegal customers” below).
What we collect
- Server logs. Like any website, our servers record technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser and the page you asked for. We use them to keep the site running and secure.
- Enquiries you send us. When you press send on the contact form, we store your name, email address, message and anything optional you added (company, phone) in OneLegal's own admin system, where our team reads and answers it. It is not forwarded to anyone by email. If you email us directly instead, we hold what you wrote, your name and your email address so we can reply.
- Sign-in. If you sign in, we set one cookie to keep you signed in for up to 8 hours. If you set a profile name or photo inside OneLegal, it is kept with your account and shown to colleagues at your company.
What we do not do
- We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website.
- We do not load fonts, scripts or images from other companies when you visit.
- We do not sell personal data.
Why we use your data
To answer your message, to run and secure this website, and to meet our legal obligations.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and emails for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any follow-up, and delete an enquiry two years after we were last in touch about it. Server logs are deleted after 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, or complain.
- United Kingdom: under UK GDPR, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
- India: under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.
OneLegal customers
When organisations use OneLegal, they decide what contracts and data go into it, and Oltin processes that data on their behalf under a data processing agreement. That agreement covers residency, retention, security and our commitment never to use customer data to train AI models.
